One such method is Ad Swapping. Here we will discuss the benefits and power of ad swapping your way to a powerful list. Using this method you will be able to build your list with the efforts of others.
Many have heard of Co-registration leads were a website will sell you names of customers that have opted in to their list and introduce them to you in hopes of converting them, but that is not the Ad Swapping that I am referring to, though that is a powerful way to build a list.
What I am referring to is developing relationships with others inside of your niche and co marketing together. You would need a list owner or owners with a list similar to the niche and items that you market. This way you can target your list in a way that you can immediately turn a profit.
This method would consist of swapping advertising between your sites and that of your partner site. You may look for e-zine publishers or affiliate marketers thru your favorite search engine and offer to give them one of your free reports or courses in exchange for one of theirs that you will send to your list if they will send your to theirs.
Another technique would be to list their e-zine or their item on your download page after they have signed up for your free e-zine or free report. When your subscriber goes to the download page or in the email you sent them you can simply say "Thank you for subscribing to my e-zine or here is your free report, as a thank you please select any of the other free reports that may interest you". Your partner website or websites can do the same. In this way you can enlarge your list thru the efforts of your partners website. Once someone picks the extra e-zine or free report they are interested in then they will go to the sign up page directly for that persons list, and be sent into their auto responder. It’s a win win for everyone. This is a free method of duplicating the efforts of others in building your own list.
Can you imagine the power if you have 10 different sites promoting your giveaway and you theirs? This is a duplicating of your efforts in a way that will benefit your list greatly. Were they market you market, what you spend to advertise is duplicated 10 fold through your ad swapping and thru your partnering websites.
